Title: Trappe Veterans Memorial Park

Title: Trappe Veterans Memorial Park

Scope of Work: Phase 1 Sitework: (Phase Withdrawn)
       1. Supply and install a monolithic pour concrete pad for bandstand.
       2. Provide water line connection for proposed water fountain within 10' of pit.
          (town staff will install and provide water meter, and make final connection)
       3. Supply and install concrete base 6" deep by 30" square for accessible water fountain

Scope of Work: Phase 1 Gazebo/band stand :
       1. Supply and install 13' x 18' vinyl clad gazebo/band stand with railings with interior lights
          and electrical outlets. Final design to be selection of Town of Trappe

Scope of Work: Phase 2 Misc:
       1. Supply and install (1) in ground mount "loop" bike rack 4+ bike capacity
       2. Supply and install barrier free bi-level water fountain with recessed vandal resistant bib.
Sealed bids shall be clearly labeled for this project and the appropriate phase so they are not accidently opened prior to the bid due date. Bidders may bid on all phases or on individual phases. All bids shall include a detailed itemized cost estimate, proof of insurance and shall be submitted to the Town Clerk for the Town of Trappe, PO Box 162, 4011 Powell Ave, Trappe, MD 21673 by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.

Each bid should state the contractor's availability to complete the project in a timely manner prior to May 21, 2012.

The Town Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid or portions thereof, when in their judgment the public will be better served.

All qualified local and minority owned businesses are encouraged to apply.
